Now That You're Here ....
Hello! :::::::: smiling and waving! :::::::::: I've received some messages and emails from members who are smiling on the outside, but inwardly frustrated with having to learn how to navigate a new website. I want you to know that it's okay. Yes, it's alright to say you're not a fan of change. The fact that you are all still here, reading this, says that you enjoy your Community enough to roll with it and give it a chance! So, now that you're here let's get to know the site a bit better. The best thing I can suggest is to dive in. Join a few new groups, start a few discussions, comment on a few discussions, answer a few poll questions or start one of your own. You can also upload photos and videos! I'll put a fresh pot of coffee on to share with you and let's move forward together. If you have any questions, or tips and techniques to share, post away!Comments

Laura, that would be so great to get that feature back. It saves a lot of time so you have a good idea of what's new and don't have to try and remember if you have seen something before. Here's another question: Is there anyway to tell if someone has commented on one of our recipes like a list that shows most recently viewed recipe. For some reason, many viewers of recipes ask questions in a review and it used to be easy to tell if someone had done that by looking at the list. That may already be on here somewhere so maybe I just need to know the way to find it. Thanks for all your help. Magzie

Laura, I'm with you. The more I explore, the more I see the interesting changes and not just the differences. There will always be things we miss but there appear to be many new avenues of exploration. One question: what is the best way to find out what is being added by our friends other than going to their page or the individual group? That is the main thing I miss, having the info on the right side that gave us an idea of what is new. I know there are areas here I haven't gotten to yet so would love to have any hints. thanks so much for all your help.

my only comment would be to at least include canada & its provinces/territories in the list of places where you're from (or at least a wider range of countries!). the reason i say this is b/c i'm actually from toronto, ontario and i don't have the option of saying that or which country i live in on my profile.
