Christmas is near

The garden has been put to bed and the Frazier Fir greenery has been formed into wreaths and sprays and hung on every single place that I can possibly put it.  I made a huge wreath and hung it on the Garden Shed. We got all the greenery for free from Lowe's where they trim the trees.  I love free.

I've done the cleaning, decorating, and baking.  I've wrapped the gifts and tied them up so pretty.  Now we wait.  Waiting for my sweet daughter to come home for Christmas.  It's been 2½ years since she has been home.  Wow!

Who knows what 2012 will bring.  I have a new mantra, 'One Day At A Time.'  We cannot worry about the things we have no control over.  I have faith and that will take you a long way.

I'm wishing you, (all who read this post) a very special Christmas and a sparkling New Year.  Let's wipe the slate clean and start afresh in 2012.  New outlook, new you, new personality, new attitude, new visions, new goals, new ideas.......you get the picture.

    Karlinann,

The greens sound beautiful!  I would love to see pics if you get a chance.  My kids made me some lovely spruce top planters on Thanksgiving.  They put pictures up on their facebook pages and their grandma saw them and wants to know where hers are?  They really are beautiful!!  You sound like you are really ready for Christmas.  Wish I was that caught up!  Seems like no matter what I get done I always seem to have some more to do!
