I know you're looking for sandwiches that don't have or require recipes, so I've posted a few that can be tweaked and memorized pretty easily once you do it. Some do require a "list" of stuff, because, at least for me, I have a hard time remembering certain things on recipes. So I hope you'll forgive me for posting what I did.

I agree..Like children who is alive..and they will ask where did this come from and where did they get the idea.I do a example; My sister -law...had her first born child came into the world..i made that child a home made quilt by hand...One day my sister-law she was in a bad mood..So my sister pack up all the baby stuff of the first born..Even the quilt i made for the kid..so my sister-law gave to her next door neighbors..Now the first born want a quilt..I told him"NO"..I told him i am give any free quilt out to you..Any more..Then i told the first born go ask your what happen to your quilt..I never got my answer back..Now he is mad at me..Who fault is it..Not mine..from teddie

My dad and I made another batch of pickled beets this year, and while we love to eat them on their own, I can't think of any other ways to eat/use them, other than perhaps in a salad. Any ideas?

I was diagnosed back in 2000 with type II, and was on oral meds for quite awhile. When I had gastric bypass, for a short while I was on insulin, but then after having lost the weight, I was able to get off all meds, and eventually quit testing my blood sugar. Recently though, I had a check - up, and while my numbers were in the normal range, they were all in the higher end. So my doctor told my that if I start "behaving" myself, I could manage to stay off the meds. I've been doing pretty good so far, but it's only been a month since I've started, and some days it's hard to keep up the fight. So, I guess the reason I'm posting this discussion is to maybe help others along the way with some encouragement, and get the support I need too on occasion. Hope to hear from all of you out there struggling with or succeeding in dealing with the disease.
