Stuffed Mushroom Appetizer
No Comments | Written on December 10, 2014 at 5:00 am , by Kristina Vanni
It looks like I have a new go-to appetizer for holiday entertaining!
These stuffed mushroom appetizers are a bit of a trick. They feel “meaty” yet they are completely vegetarian. (They can even be made vegan by skipping the cheese on top.)
There is even a bit of dry white wine used in the recipe, that way the rest of the bottle can be enjoyed with you guests!

Marinated Summer Squash

This “Marinated Summer Squash” is a beautiful cold appetizer presentation that is perfect for late summer entertaining. Yellow and green squash are still in season, so now is the ideal time to make this dish. I love how subtle flavors of garlic and sage are infused into the squash.
Best part is, everything can (and should) be made the day before, so you can sit back and enjoy a glass of wine with your guests!

Holiday Appetizers

This time of year so much seems to happen around the table. Hearty holiday meals, laughter and drinks with friends, cookie baking and decorating with kids.
Along the way the table has become the anchor for togetherness.
Upon moving to New York, I knew I needed one, great multi-purpose table. Something for a small studio space that could function throughout the day as a photo studio, a work desk and a place to sit down for meals.
Just before I arrived I discovered the talents of Mark Jupiter and his showroom in DUMBO, Brooklyn. After seeing his craftsmanship, I knew I had to build my entire studio around one of his pieces.
