Guess what?  Today is my birthday!

I know most people expect cake and candles for a birthday, but I felt like a celebratory cocktail.  If you have never tried a Moscow Mule, make one today and toast with me!

Keep reading for the recipe…

The recipe is easy – all you have to do is combine a bit of lime juice with vodka then top off with a generous pour of ginger beer.  A bit of mint garnish is beautiful, but the key to success in this recipe is a classic copper mug.

On a warm day, this drink will be your 5 o’clock refresher.  The copper quickly takes on the icy temperature of the cocktail, providing a chilly sensation.  If you ask me, this icy cold mug even helps to amplify the bright flavors of ginger and lime.

Come on!  Toast with me and make a “Copper Mug Moscow Mule.”
