Start by selecting an assortment of your favorite dried fruits. I chose pineapple slices, pears, apple rings, and apricots. Dip them halfway in your favorite kind of chocolate. I prefer dark chocolate, but you can feel free to try milk or even white chocolate.
When the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a combination of crushed Grape-Nuts cereal and candied ginger. This adds a wonderful crunch and intriguing flavor to the dessert. Then, allow the chocolate to set and the fruit is ready to eat anytime.
I love that this dessert can be made in advance for a holiday party. They also make for a wonderful hostess gift!
