Hummus is a healthy and delicious dip or spread that has risen to popularity over the past several years.  This high-protein and high-fiber snack can be a blank canvas for your favorite flavors.

In this version I added toasted cumin seeds and curry powder to create Curried Hummus!

There is one other secret ingredient to my hummus – Grape-Nuts cereal!  I love tossing in some of my favorite cereal for added texture and crunch.

Hummus is great with pita bread or pretzel chips, or used as a dip for your favorite raw vegetables.  This curried hummus is particularly delicious with carrot sticks or cauliflower florets.
