I love making blended soups, because they become so thick and creamy that it seems like they are made with heavy, rich ingredients.  Not a drop of butter or cream in this dish!  Just leeks, kale, olive oil, broth, salt, pepper and sage.  

This is a great lunch or light dinner on a chilly autumn day!
