In this version, I spiced things up with some savory add ons.  The raw pumpkin seeds are tossed with oil, Worcestershire sauce, Sriracha, salt, paprika, cumin and cayenne pepper.

The result was an absolutely addictive snack.  These would be outstanding sprinkled on top of an autumn soup or tossed into your favorite salad!

Sriracha Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

2 cups fresh pumpkin seeds

2 tablespoons canola oil

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon Sriracha

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

In a medium bowl, toss pumpkin seeds with oil, Worcestershire sauce and Sriracha. Sprinkle with the salt, paprika, cumin and cayenne; toss to coat.

Spread pumpkin seeds in 9-by-13 inch pan. Bake, uncovered, at 250° for 45-50 minutes or until lightly browned and dry, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 2 cups.
