This easy pizza recipe is an elegant appetizer course for serving a crowd.  It can also be a beautiful light lunch when served with a green salad!

The inspiration for this pizza is the French “Pissaladiere.”  Here I make it quick and easy by using frozen puff pastry for the crust.

Your kitchen will be filled with the aromas of a quaint bistro in the south of France as you caramelize the red onions.  After about 30 minutes the flavor is delicate and sweet, perfectly balanced with the salty black olives on top of the pizza.
