Slow Cooker Shredded Beef
As you plan meals for the week, I think this one needs to go to the top of the list! It is an easy slow cooker recipe that the whole family will love. Plus it reheats well, so you can always pack leftovers for lunch the next day. Let me show you how easy it is to make this Slow Cooker Shredded Beef!
Keep reading for the recipe…
This shredded beef dish is often called “Ropa Vieja” and makes a great filling inside tortillas along with a dollop of sour cream and a few slices of avocado. It can also be served on top a bed of shredded lettuce and enjoyed as a salad.
Using Gourmet Garden herbs makes this recipe even easier to prepare. These tubes of fresh herbs and spices are washed, chopped, and ready to go for any recipe at a moments notice. Best part is, they last up to 3 months in your refrigerator.
So many times I have passed by these tubes in the produce section of my grocery store and I have always been curious about the taste. Gourmet Garden was a sponsor of the Big Summer Potluck food blogger retreat this summer and I was so excited to give the samples a try. Let me tell you, I am hooked!
You know you want to make this for dinner!
