I can’t tell you how excited I was to make the winner in our “Best Berry Recipe Ever” contest!  There is nothing I love more than a big bowl of gorgeous fresh berries.  Berries just might be my favorite food in the whole world!

This winning recipe for “Triple Berry Brown Betty” from Better Recipes member “donnawolfe” is overflowing with strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.

In this recipe, a trifecta of berries is tossed with honey, lemon and cornstarch.  The topping is jam packed with oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  It can be served with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.

I really enjoyed the honey flavor in this recipe and thought it might also taste great topped with a spoonful of Greek yogurt!  (Does that mean I can eat it for breakfast?)

The recipe instructions recommend placing a foil-lined baking sheet under the pie plate to catch drips.  I definitely suggest following this tip!  The dessert is perfectly ooey-gooey in the best way possible.  This also means, it can be a mess to clean up off the bottom of your oven if you aren’t careful!

Your mouth is watering, right?  Make this “Triple Berry Brown Betty” for dessert this weekend!
