I have a passion for food and culinary arts. It was a second choice as a job profession in my past. I’m constantly watching cooking shows and making new recipes or coming up with new ones. One thing I do love to smack on is dried fruit and nuts while at work. I’m a Cosmetologist full time and need something to be quick and easy to eat between clients. I buy dried fruit a lot and would prefer to have my fresh fruit turn into dried fruit without added sugars and peservatives. I would absolutely love to get the dehydrator. Its bern on my wish list for near 10yrs. Other bills come before a new kitchen gadget. Thank you for your time in reading.

Recently I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and my husband with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Our lifestyle has to change if we are to enjoy more years. At 71 and 75 we can have more time to enjoy life so we have taken on a new outlook. We can not/do not use any commercially processed food. I have reunited myself with my canner, we bought a freezer and now would like to start dehydrating food. Having a food dehydrator would be the perfect addition to my kitchen tools. Thank you!

A food dehydrator would be just what a person who is concerned about survival in a disaster needs. I live in a rift valley—which I didn’t know till several years after I moved here. If there should be an earthquake and I had no electricity or gas to cook my food, I could survive on my dehydrated foods till power was restored.

Cooking for myself without wasting food is a task that I have worked out using dehydrated food. When using hydrated foods, I can take just a few pieces of many different vegetables, meats, fruits, etc. and make a mug of Chicken and Dumplings that is loaded with high quality products harvested at their peak. There is little or no waste and I get to eat nutritiously and deliciously. I have worn out several dehydrators and need a new one!
