I have a backyard garden that is doing quite well this season, and while I love to eat the veggies fresh, I could certainly freeze some for winter, using this prize. Our Okra and Corn would do well…….as would the tomato sauce that I make using our home-grown tomatoes and onions. I think our jalapeno peppers would freeze up well, too, and I might try the various squash, such as our zucchini, yellow, and crook-neck. We also buy large portions of steak to save money and then cut it in individualized portions and freeze. Takes several wrappings of plastic and taping of bags to keep it from freezer-burn and to fit it in, among other foods in the freezer. This prize looks like it would make my job much easier!

I also like to freeze fresh broccoli from my garden. The taste of fresh is so different from what you buy in the store.

I actually freeze any veggie that I lookup and can be blanched and froze.
