I haven’t been able to find a good Gluten free bread and need to start experimenting making my own bread. Winning this break maker would be awesome.

I am a two time cancer survivor and know the importance of fresh, properly prepared foods. I avoid foods that have added ingredients that I know aren’t healthy. I would make my family fresh bread regularly if I win this bread maker.

My house has been packed and most all put in storage due to kerossen smoke damage. a few kitchen items were put under tarps becasue the storage units were full and the bread machine was one under the tarp. Wasn’t suppose to be but a few months and now 5 years later, plus hasbands death, I am still working to get house done but getting closer. I would love to have a new bread machine to make bread again. The smell of homemade bread makes me think of home and mom’s bread.

Was on here searching for a good enchilada recipe and came across this contest. My wife frequently makes homemade bread in our 22 year old,yes i said 22 year old Regal bread maker because of our more than busy life. I work shiftwork and we have two boys,ages 10 and 14, and she works fulltime. It’s easy to add the ingredients, set the timer and when I wake up, fresh homemade bread. Thanks for the opportunity.

I make most of the bread we eat by hand. Store bought just does not compare. Having a bread maker would make the job so much easier.

Living in a small town the variety of choices is very limited. With a bread machine and a good recipe I could make the breads that my family would enjoy and be good for them. And the aroma of fresh bread baking cannot be beat. I’d love to win this machine!

Wow, just the smell of fresh bread is amzing and you can count on this brand to bake beautifully well! I have always wanted one of these, several friends have them and I experimented a bit with my ex’s….wonderful and economic plus easily adjusted to mix-up flaver or diet preferences…yummy! I had a bread maker many moons ago and used it weekly for rolls or pizza dough. We loved it and I liked that I knew what was going into my food. That bread machine is now in bread machine heaven so I would love a new one!

I have always wanted a bread-maker, my mom had one that she used all the time and loved it. In these hard times i would love to save on buying bread from the store and make it fresh for my family. I have been making bread since I was a child at my Mom’s side. I am getting older and it is getting harder to stir the mixture and winning this would mean that I can still make it for my family without the pain it causes me now. To be able to make heart healthy bread would be awesome.

I have been eating healthy for a long time now, at trying my best! And all the breads out there, are loaded with sugar and preservatives, and not enough healthy nutrients, fiber and protein! Years ago when I worked at IBM I bought a bread-maker. I would set it to bake bread at exactly the right time for breakfast before work. It wouldn’t wake me up but it did wke up my Labrador retriever who would jump on the bed and bark at me until I gave him a piece of fresh bread. I got so I loved fresh bread in the morning.

I have recently been diagnosed with lupus, and am trying to help manage my disease by eating more whole and less-processed foods. I’m making lots of salads, soups and stir-fries with fresh vegetables, and have started making my own yogurt. I am a two stroke survivor living alone with very limited mobility and income. I have no support system and have been locked in my home since my strokes in 2006. I grow herbs in my back porch and cook for myself.

One of my fondest memories as a youngster was coming in from school and smelling my moms warm bread or rolls filling the house with that wonderful aroma. My kids were given the same opportunity but not as often since I was not home to bake every day or two. As wonderful as homemade bread is I just didn’t have the time but I know from trying out one that a bread machine can give you great results and much healthier bread than you find in the grocery stores. I love to be creative and add ground chia or flax and sesame or sunflower seeds and a loaf of bread never lasts very long. Having my own machine would not only make me very happy but my family, neighbours & friends would love that I had it too.

If there is one thing I love is specialty breads. my favorite is a good spiral rye but I would love to experiment with weird combinations like a jalapeno bread, cheese, onion pumpernickle with cranberry. I have started getting back to basics with my food and have become more aware of the additives and preservatives that aren’t exactly good for you. My mom has had – and beat – cancer three times now. My dad died from diabetes. I want to take better care of myself and my family, and baking my own bread is the next step. No matter what everyone says, I still find it a daunting task. I remember my great aunt had a bread machine in the 80s, and I remember liking her bread. I’m trying to bring back a good memory and eat better at the same time.
The more I can make, the less I have to be, the healthier we eat.

I never thought I would need a machine but now that my shoulders have problems I can’t knead bread as easy as I used to and that keeps me from bothering. It’s also hard to have enough time. Bread is my favorite food but I don’t eat grocery store bread. Only like homemade. I had no idea you could use that to make jam and stuff. What a great bonus. I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease and have had to go on a gluten free, sugar free diet. The only sweeteners I can have are agave and stevia. It’s benn very difficult to find breads that fit my diet and are still good. I am very sick right now and have considered making my own bread but right now I’m not even able to bend down to my oven, nor am I strong enough to mix ingredients. I’ve considered buying one but can’t afford it with the money I am spending on treatment. This bread maker would mean much to me.

I simply love to bake. The first memory that comes into mind when I think of fresh homemade bread is of a late friend named Ruth. She made fresh bread for our friends and myself. That’s one of the memories I have of her. We miss her tremendously. Making my own bread will always keep moments like that in mind

I am 88 years old..I have been baking breads from scratch for at least 40 years. I find that due to arthritis among other physical problems I can’t do a lot of the things I love to do…baking fresh bread being one of them. The”Bread Machine” seems to be the answer..

My son saved & saved to buy me a bread maker when I was going thru cancer because I craved fresh bread. I made bread for everyone! My bread maker finally died. I go through a lot of bread machines. To much use. I like to control what goes into my bread. So much better and healthier than store bought. I can control fiber content and get the young one to eat more whole grains, without them knowing it’s healthy, just delicious.

Our old bread maker is getting worn out, we now just use it for mixing the dough, then we bake it in our oven as we can not trust the complete bread machine. It would be nice to have a new bread maker.

i’ve made and loved homemade bread my whole life but find recently that the mixing and kneading are painful to old joints! while a machine-made loaf won’t have quite the same ‘zen’ experience as a hand-made one, there’s nothing quite like the aroma of fresh bread permeating the house!
I love the aroma and taste of homemade bread. I do make bread occasionally but unfortunately it is usually so hot here in TX that turning the oven on for bread baking is not very pleasant. This wonderful Cuisinart bread machine would allow me to bake bread again without heating up the entire house in the TX heat!

My mom and I used to make bread together and I LOVED it! It was always so delicious and is wrapped with so many good memories with her. Now that’s she’s passed on, I haven’t made bread in a while…successfully, that is. Me baking hand-made bread has been nothing but a flop! Mine was my fathers and he passed away more than 12 years ago. I don’t know how long he had it before he passed It has been a good machine but it really needs an upgrade. My breadmaker is so old that my bread comes out standing on end! I love cooking and baking. My family and I would love it if I could get an updated breadmaker. Cuisinart makes great appliances (just got the 6 qt mixer to add to my 4 qt mixer) so I’m sure this breadmaker would make a great replacement for my outdated machine. We’d all do a happy dance here.

Two decades I received my first bread maker and as my family grew it was used a lot. During our last Army move it got broken and we have really missed having fresh bread. I would love to win this Cuisinart bead maker to make some fresh bread for our family when we all get together again. Bread is the connector of families.
My husband and I love home make bread. With this maker, I can make us a loaf and it won’t be so much bread that we can use it before it goes to waste. We also love lots of different kinds of bread but the loaves you buy are expensive and too large for us to use before the go bad. I would love to surprise him with fresh bread.
I have recently been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I have revised my eating habits to include much healthy meals and make a move to a vegetarian diet.

I’ve always wanted a bread maker – had even put one on my list for my wedding. Then we got involved with kids and family stuff and it kind of fell by the wayside. Well, now i’ve got the time to experiment and a hungry hubby who’s willing to be my taster!
Something tells me that the aroma of freshly baking bread in my new breadmaker, would be heavenly. It will be wonderful to taste the goodness of homemade bread, also. I have never had a breadmaker, and would love the opportunity to experience this. Thank you!
As a child my mother always made fresh bread and the smell was heavenly. The sizing is proportioned for small families with little or no waste. Hurray. Hope I am considered.

My wife has a very limited diet due to chronic health issues. She can enjoy and really does love good bread. Since I do most of the cooking it would be wonderful to surprise her with a variety of fresh, wholesome bread any time she wants.
In my house bread and water would not be a punishment, but rather a privilege. I try to find new and tasty breads to serve with dinner or as desserts. With a break maker, I would be able to make new and different kinds of bread. Not to mention the smell in the house would be a treat for all of us!

My husband and I do not care for bakery or store bought bread. He has made breadmaker bread for 15 yrs., a couple loaves a week. Our old breadmaker died and he is using our Kitchenaide mixer but it’s so much more work. A new breadmaker would be the perfect solution.

There is no better smell than fresh baked bread in the house. It brings back good memories. My wife and I both work, so we don’t always have time to do it from scratch. It would be a great addition to the houshold.

To have the fresh smell of bread reminds me of when I was younger and gramma would bake bread. Living in a fast paced society these days, one doesn’t have the time to spend baking like gramma did. So having a bread maker would sure bring back those memories and the taste of fresh bread every day.

I use my 20 year old breadmaker so much, but the pan currently leaks (especially if I use the timer) and the bread sometimes doesn’t have enough liquid by the time it is finished. I use it to make pizza dough, hamburger/hot dog buns, bread, and other things. I’m not sure what I will do when mine finally doesn’t work at all!

I’m diabetic & have wanted a bread maker for a very long time, but because there are so many brands and varieties out there, I’ve never purchased one. I try to be creative in making bread when I have the time and energy, because I want to create healthy choices, preferrably low in gluton. I also like to make breads for family, friends and seniors in my community or neighborhood. A good breadmaker would be ideal to do all of this, without effecting arthitic pain.

I am lactose intolerant and since mostt commercial bread has milk in it , I would be able to make mty own with soy milk or water.

We often watch a variety of cooking shows on tv so this would be a new experience for us both.
When we sere first married and had 3 growing hungry boys I made bread the old fashioned. We just celebrated or 58th anniversary and just don’t have in in me to knead and hand bake the bread. Would love to have a dependable bread maker, and have fresh bread and the aroma in the house.

I love making homemade everything. My desire to do so has inspired my granddaughter — she is a budding culinary artist. My husband LOVES the smell of fresh bread! And it’s great knowing exactly what ingredients are in the bread when you make it yourself, as opposed to buying it from a store. There is nothing like to taste, freshness and smell of hot bread and when it is home made, that is even better. My husband wants this thing as much as I do. I would love to have a breadmaker, as it would make it a lot easier for my husband and myself to make a healthier loaf for ourselves. He is having to lose weight due to him being a diabetic, and I decided that since I need to lose weight myself, I would eat what he eats, and try hard to make it as healthy a meal as we can. One way, would be to buy the proper type of flour, and make it ourselves. He is not one to make it himself from scratch and wait all that long to have a nice loaf of bread. We all have things that we want and need that makes things less time consuming for ourselves, this would be one of them.

Moved to southern Texas to take care of aging Mother this past Nov. Had to put my things in storage, which included my Kitchenaid mixer that I used to make bread with. I love making fresh bread, so needless to say a breadmachine, especially a Cuisinart, would be a wonderful surprize!

Many, many moons ago when I lived at a Boy Scout Camp, I used to make my own bread. I also made desserts for 200 men and boys for several weeks in the summer. There is nothing more calming to the senses than to come into a room smelling the aroma of warm bread baking. Having a machine would be a great trip down memory lane without taking as much time. It’s still a labor of love. My sister had one and loved it!

I have hypothyroidism that has made me gain weight and now I am taking medication to get my body back to normal. I have just learned to make my own bread to help me lose the weight instead of buying store bread with all the ingredients I can’t have and the bread maker would make it easier for me to coninue to have healthy bread everyday.

Our family loves baked homemade bread. My current bread machine which is over 20 years old is on its last leg of making bread. Years ago, when they first came out I had a bread machine. I loved how easy it was to make various types of bread and pizza dough was a snap. Not to mention the aroma of fresh baked bread in the morning…yummy! When I moved from Arizona back to Michigan, my brother dropped the box that contained my machine and broke it!! Recently, I have entertained the thought of purchasing a new machine but to win one in a contest would be even better!

I remember coming home from school and my mom had baked bread. It was snowing outside and the aroma was so cozy and comforting. Now brother has a breadmaker and makes the most awesome rye bread! Unfortunately, we have moved and are not close enough to get the delicious bread from him anymore. Also, I like the fact that I would be able to make healthy, preservative free bread.

I would love this since I went gluten free in October (cured my migraines and allergy symptoms), but gluten free bread is either really expensive or gross. I make my own now but time consuming and this would help me make bread for my health and my aging father.

I grew up on a farm until I was 14 years old so I was raised on everything made in our home or grown on our farm.
I now have a daughter. Since having my daughter I have been trying to get back to those roots. I try and provide everything I can that is home made or grown.

Having Celiac and living in Alaska, everything comes here frozen. I love the smell of hot bread and love baking. Baking gluten-free, especially bread, can be tricky. I would make full use of a bread maker enjoying fresh bread at least weekly and being able to share the joys of fresh, gluten-free bread with my friends and coworkers would change their mind about the quality of GF breads.

Hi. Me and my mom have custody of my 5 nieces and nephews and they have had very poor eating habits where they were. We’re wanting to show them the a healthier side of eating and the better sides of foods. I think a break maker would be perfect in showing them the different breads that can be made as well as get them into cooking and helping to cook or at least to care more about what they put in their bodies. I love making and eating handmade bread, but I still make it by hand. Now that I’m back to full-time work, my bread-making has become more of the “artisan-style” no-knead bread. While artisan is still delicious, I’d love to have the time to continue to make batches of my honey-wheat bread! A bread maker would be just the thing.

When my husband received military orders taking our family to Okinawa Japan, my bread maker went into storage. Here we are 5 years later, back in the US. Unfortunately, my bread machine did not take make it through the seperation. I haven’t purchased a new one yet, but my family has been missing the fresh bread I used to make!
Our First Grand Daughter was born last year and she needs to be Gluten Free for health reasons; this would make Grandpa’s job a whole lot faster and when shes older she will learn to cook with me too.

My best friend is allergic to corn and all of its derivatives that are commonly used as thickeners in prepared breads, condiments, jams, box mixes for cakes and brownies and more. Her daughter is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts, which are almost always processed on the same machines as those used to make bread ingredients and bread. Needless to say, she’s had to learn to make nearly everything from scratch. The breadmaker is a vital tool in her kitchen, and she blows through them about 1 a year. I’d love to be able to take some of the burden off of her by having a back-up and by supplementing her own home cooking work with surprises from my garden and kitchen.

We found an old hand me down bread maker in my husband’s uncle’s things when he passed, and I used it for a few years until I accidentally threw out the little mixer piece that stays in the bread. Whenever I make bread the old fashioned way it’s always dense and disappointing. With 3 kids now, it’d be great to have an easy way to serve fresh bread with our meals.

Seven years ago my father in law was put in a medical facility that housed Alzheimer’s patients. At that time I had to enter the workforce leaving the things I loved most… Being home with my children and being a homemaker. I love to cook and cooked from scratch. So, because if the mounting financial responsibilities and no time (or energy) to cook nutritious meals, we no longer have the pleasure of fresh bread , rolls or great meals. I have priced bread makers and have not been able to fit the expense in on such a tight budget. I hope you find it in your hearts to allow me the privilege of owning this beautiful bread maker. I had a Zojirushi bread maker for only three years then the belt wore out. Since then I’ve been making bread in the oven and it.s time consuming and not fool proof . I bet your bread maker is top quality

It is more economical and healthy to make your won homemade breads. But now that I am getting older and arthritis is setting in, I am not able to knead the dough as well. This would solve my problem and put a wonderful aroma in the air and a smile on my face!

I’d love to win the Cuisinart bread-maker because home-made is better! We are trying to eat organic and chemical free. Besides, baking bread is one of the most wonderful smells your home can have. In the winter, I love to use my oven to make hot meals, etc. and to also supplement heating our home. In warm or hot weather, I don’t want to use my oven for baking so this would be a perfect addition to my kitchen.

We are very interested in making our own bread so we can start experimenting with low sugar, multigrain varieties. Both my husband and I have diabetic family members, so we try to eat more whole grains and low sugar foods to help reduce our risk. Winning this bread maker would be an excellent way for us to continue on this path. It would also be a nice addition to my other Cuisinart appliances, including the immersion blender I recently bought.

Finding out my wife is diabetic and having to take over more of the cooking and meal planning,I’ve discovered ordinary bread is an item that needs to be restricted or eliminated. Some kinds of breads are possible. Recipes for them are out there but learning the art of baking bread is beyond me. Checking the description of the machine sounds as though it would be a time and frustration saver.
Now that I am retired one of my goals is to cook healthier foods. I would love to make our breads without additives and preservatives. I believe that this would be healthier for my husband and I.A bread maker is just what I need to accomplish part of my goal.

I a senior citizen in search of learning new skills. I am working on a salt free menu for myself and others. Making bread without preservatives, sugar, and salt is a goal I have but I can no longer knead the bread so I would like a bread machine so I can make bread for others and myself.
