Happy Valentine’s Day!
If you need a last minute treat to impress your Valentine, this “no-recipe” recipe is the way to go. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are a staple on this day, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make them extra special!
Keep reading… XOXO
A few weeks back I showed you how to make “Sushi Pops” that were inspired by a dish served at Qsine restaurant onboard the Celebrity Cruise line. These were also served on the ship during the dessert course.
Again, I fell in love with the creativity of serving them from table to table in the “grass.” They called this course “Strawberry Fields!”
Feel free to get creative and go beyond just chocolate dipped strawberries. I used a variety of dark, milk, white chocolates, then dipped them in flavorful and colorful decorations. From sprinkles, to chopped nuts, even multi-colored Pop Rocks for an explosion of excitement in your mouth!
Melt the chocolate in 15 second intervals in the microwave and stir until smooth. Insert the cake pop sticks into the strawberries and dip in the melted chocolate. While the chocolate is still warm, roll the strawberry in your favorite topping and cool to set. Insert the other end of the stick in a container of live wheatgrass, and you have created “Strawberry Fields!”
