This breakfast treat is easy to prepare. Simply pop open a can of refrigerated biscuits, and spread each biscuit with a mixture of butter, sugars, cinnamon and nuts. Then, place the coated biscuits in a cake pan and drizzle with honey. That’s it! 15-20 minutes later the sticky buns are brown, bubbly, and ready to eat.
Before you know it, you will have a clean plate and a full belly!
Speedy Sticky Buns
1 package refrigerated biscuits
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon cinnamon-sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 to 4 Tablespoons honey
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Open up tube of biscuits and separate. In a small bowl, mix together butter, brown sugar, cinnamon-sugar, and pecans; mix well. Pick up each biscuit and spread generously with butter mixture. Place covered biscuits in a buttered 9-inch cake pan and then drizzle all over with honey. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and the biscuits are golden.
Tip: I suggest putting a cookie sheet underneath the cake pan in the oven, just in case the ooey-gooey goodness overflows a bit. This will prevent a messy clean-up at the bottom of your oven!
