    • I’ve been cooking since I was 9 years old (66 years) but not too long ago my oldest daughter moved in with me and she is a fabulous cook. She makes lots of cakes, pies and cookies and I want a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for her so bad. All she has is a portable hand mixer. But if she had one of these she would be sooo happy and so would I.

Our family tradition is making Kringla. Christmas Eve at Grandma’s would not be complete without this Norwegian cookie. A KitchenAid stand mixer is the only way to make these delicious treats. Now that my daughter is getting married she needs her own mixer to continue the tradition.

    Janet Mack says:

I could really use this mixer to make the Christmas cookies with my grandchildren. We have been making cooking together for years and they enjoy the time together. We generally make about eight dozen and give them to friends and family. Our granddaughters have been doing this since they were five and six, now they are seventeen and eighteen. I have gone thru many hand mixers and this would truly be a blessing!

    Susan Phillips says:

My Christmas memories are of me and my sweet mama in the kitchen cooking together. Mama was truly a great made-from-scratch cook and we had so much fun together in the kitchen. It was common for us to host a 30 – 45 person Christmas Dinner and we prepared all the food from appetizers to desserts. Everybody loved to eat at our house. Mama passed away in April 2000 after a long, painful battle with cancer. My heart has been broken every since. She would have loved a Kitchenaid Mixer. So many of her wonderful baking recipes have such dense batter and using a hand mixer, which is all I have, makes some of those recipes pretty much impossible to handle. Having a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer would enable me to make any of mama’s Christmas recipes as well as her other recipes. It would be a dream come true and would bring back even more sweet memories of me and mama in the kitchen together. Merry Christmas memories to you and your family! I thank you for your consideration. Susan

  • 26
    Katie C says:

A Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer would be such a blessing this holiday season. Ever since I was a little girl and I got my very first Easy Bake Oven I fell in love with baking. I saw it as an art form and an opportunity to get creative. And I was always all about baking from scratch – no box recipes here.

As I grew a little older, my love for baking grew with me. My close friend (and neighbor) and I would create our own recipes and write them down on recipe cards. Then bake the dish and go door-to-door throughout the neighborhood asking families to try our creation and give us their honest feedback.

We also often baked for friends and families serving overseas to make sure they had special treats and something to remind them of home.

To this day, I still love baking and I still love doing it from scratch. One of my absolute favorite recipes is for fresh homemade pumpkin bread using an actual pumpkin (no canned pumpkin here). The Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer would be an amazing accompaniment to my backing bread ritual and would make my life so much easier as I love to bake multiple loaves to share with friends, family, co-workers, and others.

Crossing my fingers to win this awesome, amazing prize. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to share and blessings to all this holiday season.

I have a beautiful Kitchen Aid that was a gift from my mother. I use it all the time (ALL the time!) and it is still in mint condition. This Kitchen Aid I would gift to one of my very close friends who doesn’t have one. She lives frugally, and cooks/bakes the old-fashioned way: by hand. Don’t be fooled: this is not a selfish act. She is a very VERY good cook, and that would surely enhance my holiday, er… eating. 🙂 This would enhance her cooking in that there could be more of it. With less energy. Wins all around!

  • 69

I would love to win this mixer! My daughter is involved in All-Star Cheerleading and we do a lot of bake sales for fundraisers to help pay for her tuition, competition fees & uniform fees. I only have a hand held mixer and it really slows me down when I am trying to make things for the bake sales. Plus I have 5 kids and my husband & myself in our household that I have to cook for. A lot of these new recipes call for a big mixer like this to do breads and cakes that I can’t do with the hand held one. I would love the chance to win this as it would help out so much in the baking process and I could expand my range of what I would be able to make. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win this!

I have a kitchenaid mixer now and absolutely love it! I am saddened though because I am in need of a new one. I make candy and bread and cookies constantly and it has served me well. But, with budgets tight like they are, I can not afford to replace it. Not only will my family be saddened by it’s loss, so will the neighbors that I share our baked goods with! Wish me luck!

    Deanna says:

I made cookies to take to my dad’s house on Thanksgiving and I doubled the recipe. Mixing it with my little handheld electric mixer was not at all successful. I had to go back in and mix by hand, which caused my hands to cramp repeatedly! I had to stop several times to rest them! The whole time, all I could think about was a beautiful, Kitchen Aid Mixer and how those cookies would’ve taken HALF the time and effort if I had one! I would LOVE to win one! Dream. Come. True.

  • 109

Within the past 5 months, I’ve gotten married, moved, remodeled our kitchen, and then hubby lost his job. Our kitchen has all this great counter-space now…but we’re still missing some key items! It is a huge tradition in our Italian family to make about 12-18 kinds of Christmas cookies (we give them as gifts too!), and kitchen aid mixers have been a very big part of that! it would be awesome to win one and carry on that tradition in my own house =)

  • 116

To quote my friend last night, “I love being able to add ingredients and ignore it, like run and stop the dogs from doing something.”
I also love being able to do whipping cream super-quickly.

I would love for my daughter to be able to use the best stand up mixer on the market, since she only knows how to use the hand mixer.

It would be so wonderful to win this Kitchen Aid mixer. Mine has seen over 37 years of use. It was a wedding gift from my husband’s Grandmother. It has seen me through some heavy baking times. This one would be more powerful than my present one and let me do larger batches saving time. A group of friends make cookies for the shut-ins of our church every Christmas. This would be a great help with that. The grinder attachment works great also for cranberry realish.

I bake year round… It’s my favorite way to destress myself. Most of the time, I give away what I bake. It’s my personal way of being able to brighten up someone else’s day! During the holidays,I bake Way more. All I have is my mom’s old (& beat up) hand mixer. I have Carpel Tunnel. Using a hand mixer kills me (very painful). I Need a stands mixer soooooooooooooo bad!! Theresa Braden-Horstman says:

I have had a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for a few years now. Not only has it been used heavily for holiday cooking and baking needs, but also when my daughter is baking for the Shiawassee County Fair in August. During both times a year, the mixer is in constant use for two to three days in a row. We actually have to plan its use so that it is used in the most efficient manner. Each season, in the back of my mind, I keep wondering “is this the last time?”. I fear we will simply wear it out. Without our Kitchen Aid mixer Fair and our holidays would be a bust! Please Kitchen Aid, don’t let my biggest fear come to being!! Award my daughter and me the continued, uninterrupted use of the best stand mixer on the market.

My grandmother was the one who did all the cooking. We were banished into the living room while she baked multiple pies and cakes in addition to the feast that laid out before us on the table.. 15 years ago she passed away and I have been given this responsibility. Prior to her death, I spent weeks with her side by side trying to copy her recipes down (but she didn’t have recipes) it was a pinch and dash of this/that. This mixer would help me recreate my grandmothers recipes and take me back to the many dinners she prepared for us all those years. Please help a struggling cook!

    Michelle Greene says:

Oh, what a blessing a new KitchenAid mixer would be!! I have many fond memories of Christmas baking with my Grandma and her diehard KitchenAid mixer was the center of attention, tirelessly cranking out batch after batch of dough; cookies, doughnuts, breads, etc. In this economy, I believe random acts of kindness are needed to bring a smile to people’s faces and who can’t smile when someone gives you a plate of cookies or a loaf of bread or a pan of brownies, etc. just because they wanted to? I can afford the ingredients to create these small blessings for my family, friends, and neighbors….I just can’t afford the tireless capabilities of a KitchenAid mixer – I hope you give me the opportunity to bring a smile to people’s faces!! Thank you!!

  • 222

    AMY COOK says:

This will be the 4th Christmas I have asked SANTA for a KITCHEN AID STAND MIXER, but apparently my requests have not been taken seriously. I truly think that if my husband, (OOPS, I MEAN SANTA) wants all those yummy cookies, pies, treats, and other foods, he should look a little more closely at his list! I have been a very good girl–really….and if anyone out there in the Kitchen Aid world has any clout…could you put in a good word for me? I love cooking and baking, trying new recipes, and recreating old familiar ones- especially those favorite hand-written ones on time-worn pages from my grandma, aunt, mom and dad….Please help a girl out…my cheap little hand mixer can’t last much longer!!!

I’m still amazed when I watch my daughter in the kitchen using her KitchenAid mixer for things I never would’ve thought of. For Example…shredding chicken?? All I can say is “WOW”! I feel like I’m in the dark ages using a hand mixer but it’s all that I have. I love to cook but sometimes the process seems so time consuming that I opt out for easier dishes. The lazy way, I admit…just sayin’. At this point in my life, I am all about ease in cooking. The KitchenAid mixer would make that possible. Gosh, I would LOVE to own a KitchenAid. Entering this giveaway could make that possible. I do believe in luck! Thanks for this opportunity. 🙂

Using a hand mixer is really not helpful, or easy anymore as you can imagine. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you pick a winner well deserving of this prize- even if it isn’t me! Thanks! Happy Holidays! 🙂

It seems to take me forever to make one batch of cookies and my arm usually feels like it is going to fall off! My 11 yrs old daughter has dreams of becoming a chef. Her pumpkin pies are a delight and her grilled cheese sandwiches are a family favorite. I’d love to have this in my kitchen to be able to expand her talents. Teaching her to cook and to love really good food has been a wonderful bonding experience. Baking has always been a daunting task for me, well, simply because I’ve never had the help of fabulous kitchen appliance like a KitchenAid. Helping my daughter realize her dream of becoming a chef by adding baking to her skill set would be a wonderful Christmas gift indeed. And of course, the KitchenAid would hers when the time comes for her to leave home… maybe.

It’s been years since I’ve used a stand mixer. My grandmother had one but of course I wasn’t very interested in baking back then.It was a chore to help in the kitchen. Now in my “old age ” I’ve discovered a love for baking and all those wonderful old recipes she used to make. My poor little hand mixer has a very hard time mixing bread dough and cookies. A stand mixer would make my hand mixer and me very happy.

My Father was a Pastry chef, trained in Sweden. My Mom made all the batter and icing and whatever in our home kitchen with a KitchenAid mixer. This Christamas will be the first time in 12 years I will actually have a working oven and stove. (The toaster oven doesn’t heat evenly enough to make cakes or cookies! In it’s defense, it’s at least 25 years old.) I am looking forward to baking marvelous Swedish cookies. I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer. I have asked for one for my birthday as well as Xmas for at least 15 years from everyone but have never gotten one. I make big batches of cookies and cakes around the holidays and mixing it by hand is messy as well as bad for my carpal tunnel when it is flaring up. My husband is always encouraging me to start a homemade dog biscuit business but without better equipment to help me it seems out of reach. Not only the fact that the time it takes to mix by hand and keep an eye on an 18 month old is a factor too.

    Belinda K Dunbar says:

The first Kitchenaid I used was the one my mother got about 25 years ago. I loved it! She was forced to get a new mixer because I burned her old one out when I used it to make meringue cookies that required the mixer to run continuously for over an hour. That was the final recipe the old Sunbeam made. But her wonderful Kitchenaid tackles that recipe easily! I love to make those meringue kisses and tons of pumpkin bread at Christmas time, and a Kitchenaid is a must for both!

I would be thrilled to win this RED Kitchenaid!!! Definitely would make my Christmas merry!

Thank you, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to You!

The older I get, the harder it is for me to use a hand mixer. Both by wrist were broke years ago but they still stiffen up on me and there is a lot of pain. • 581

This mixer would be the ultimate help in getting my holiday baking done. My old mixer which bit the dust during Thanksgiving cooking was a Sunbeam. It hung on for a few years but just wasn’t up to the task. I would love to have a new Kitchen Aid.

I have always enjoyed baking, even when it was part of my job working in a camp kitchen years ago. I enjoy the pleasure of creating something delicious and knowing that others are enjoying it. As a mother of six, I have plenty of willing participants. I also volunteer in the coffee bar at our church most Sundays, and bake goodies for people to enjoy with their coffee. This mixer would be a wonderful upgrade from my hand held mixer that works on only one speed after so much use!

My friend has a Kitchen Aid mixer, which I used this Thanksgiving helping tp prepare dinner for several families. It was amazing. I made meringue for pies and it was so thick from beating with this mixer, each pie had meringue about two inches thick. If I had this mixer, I would probably use every week to bake cookies, pies, cakes, and bread for the family over the holidays and thur the coming year.

    This is Renata from Hungary.
I have always dreamed about this machine since I got to know it!
My dream is to be a confectioner some day and I bake a lot at home. I hadn’t have enough money to invest in my studies, but this year fortunately I had enough in my pocket to start living my dream and attended to a course.
So this years’ Christmas time will be very special for me, because I can make the cakes and dishes as I learnt them.
I will make the dessert for both of my fiance’s grandmas (as they are so old and unfortunately weak), so there will be traditional Hungarian cuisines and cheesecakes as well.
It would be fantastic if I could make them with this wonderful machine!

    Pick me, please 🙂

Mt friend has a Kitchen Aid mixer, which I used this Thanksgiving, cooking for several families. I made meringue for pies and beat the egg whites with the kitchen aid mixer. I have never owned a stand mixer due to the expense, but constantly wish that I have one. I bake all year around to send a care package to Afghanistan every 2-weeks with homemade goodies (always a big hit with my husgand and the troops). In addition to all that baking, I bake a lot at Christmas to give homemade goodies to our neighbors and enough for family as well. We also have a traditional holiday drink, Tom and Jerry. It is a hot drink that includes a mix made of egg and powdered sugar. The mix takes a lot to mix by hand mixer. A stand mixer will be a welcomed relief!

I cook for 40 people for holiday dinners…I also have 4 children. The mixer would save me so much time making cookies, sweet potatoes, potatoes, pie fillings and other holiday treats. I have a non-workhorse version that does not get used as often as it should because it can’t handle the jobs!It is hard for me to justify the cost when I have 4 kids who need “things”.

  • 738

I use my Kitchen Aide during the holidays to make cookies and perogies. This tradition was passed down from my Grandmother’s family. My family enjoys perogies so much we have to make 11 pounds of ground beef perogies. The dough took us hours to make. With the Kitchen Aide, we have 11 pounds completed in 4 hours. It cuts the work time in half. Love my Kitchen Aide! Plan on gifting my daughters with one some day.
