Three Ingredient No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Anyone else excited for cookie season?  The holidays are officially underway and this time of year I love to bake, host cookie exchanges, and share sweet treats with my friends and family.   I figured I would kick things off with a super easy recipe.  You probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry!  In fact, this recipe is so simple you don’t even have to turn on the oven.

All you need to do is combine oats and peanut butter and form into 1-inch balls.  Then roll the peanut butter balls in unsweetened cocoa powder and refrigerate until firm.  I used old-fashioned oats and reduced-fat peanut butter, and it turned out great.  The unsweetened cocoa powder adds a hint of chocolate flavor without added sugar or additional calories.  Store these in the fridge and grab one anytime you want a quick snack!

Three Ingredient No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup reduced-fat peanut butter

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats and peanut butter.  Divide into 16 balls.  Roll each ball in cocoa powder.  Refrigerate until firm.  Store covered in the refrigerator.
