This Halloween, serve up a spooky mixed drink! Can you guess the main ingredient in a Jack O’ Lantern cocktail?
Keep reading for the recipe…
While you are mixing up drinks for your Halloween party, why not decorate the bar as well? If you don’t want to carve an entire pumpkin, it’s easy to carve an orange!
1) Slice off the top of an orange.
2) Hollow out the insides. (Save some orange juice for your cocktail, the recipe is below!)
3) Using a small, sharp knife, carefully carve the face. It helps to draw it on in pencil first for a guide.
4) Place a small tea light inside and enjoy! Be careful if you want to put the “lid” back on the top. If your orange is small it could extinguish the flame.
“Jack” O’ Lantern Halloween Cocktail
3 ounces Jack Daniel’s Tennesee Honey Whiskey
2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 ounce cherry liqueur
crushed ice
orange peel, for garnish
Add Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, orange juice, cherry liqueur and grenadine into a highball glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with orange peel.

The orange jack-o-lanterns are so cute. What a great idea!
the kids can have the mini orange jack o lanterns and I can have the cocktail – a perfect recipe for happiness!
How cute! Maybe you’ve spent some time in Florida because I learned how to carve an orange before I ever learned how to carve a pumpkin! LOL!

I love the idea of carving oranges! How fun! I’ve got a few in the house too – will have to give it a try!
Such a fun Halloween cocktail ~ very creative!
what a fun drink idea, Kristina!
Fun. I’ll be sending this drink idea to my sister who is a Jack fan.
Another idea, especially if the kids are making the carved oranges, replace the tealight candles with flameless LED tealights.
Love the color of this drink.
