Keep reading to see some of the best wines for summer!

I had a chance to meet up with the fabulous and fashionable Jeannie Mai at a wine tasting event in Los Angeles.   Only in LA do we sample wine at a hair salon!  That’s right…we sipped a variety of summer wines while getting a quick makeover.  What could be better!

On the menu for the evening were these four stylish offerings from Be Winery.  These wines have a unique approach because they are ready to suit your mood or pair with your personality!  Are you feeling “Fresh,” “Flirty,” “Bright,” or “Radiant?”  Read through and decide which one is perfect for you.

Be. Fresh Chardonnay – This fresh and crisp California chardonnay has strong citrus and white stone fruit flavors.  To maintain the natural brightness of the fruit, malolactic fermentation was not used. The resulting wine is beautifully fruit-driven, with juicy flavors of lemon, apple and nectarine, followed by a  clean and crisp finish.

Be. Flirty Pink Moscato  – This rich, sweet wine has tropical notes and a floral profile.  It is a blend of  Muscat of Alexandria, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains and Orange Muscat from California, with a splash of red wine to give it a dazzling pink hue. Fermentation was slowed early to  achieve the perfect level of sweetness, which is complemented by mouthwatering acidity. Notes of ripe mandarin orange and pink grapefruit  unfold with delicate rosewater on the palate.

Be. Bright Pinot Grigio – Open up a bottle of this bright and elegant wine with citrus and stone fruit flavors along with a hint of  minerality.  This light and bright California Pinot Grigio offers beautiful stone fruit and citrus characteristics. To preserve the varietal’s rich texture and bright flavors, grapes were gently crushed and immediately pressed after harvest. Aromas of juicy lemon and white peach lead into flavors of yellow apple and delicate honeysuckle.

Be. Radiant Riesling – This refreshing bottle showcases spicy, floral, lemon sorbet and peach flavors.  It is rich and luscious with aromas of inviting exotic spices and wildflowers. Fermentation was slowed early to achieve the perfect hint of sweetness in this bold and dynamic wine. Flavors of yellow peach and pineapple mingle with notes of jasmine on the lengthy finish.

Of course, because Jeannie Mai always comes armed with fashion tips and style advice, she created these four summer looks to pair with the Be Wines.  Now you can match your personality with your wine and your wardrobe!  If you are looking for the best wines and best outfits for summer she has you covered.  Each girl has been styled to reflect the characteristics of each varietal.  Which one are you?  (I am a Bright Pinot Grigio for sure!)

Flirty (Pink Moscato), Radiant (Riesling), Jeannie Mai, Fresh (Chardonnay), Bright (Pinot Grigio).
