Chocolate Toffee Waffles On-A-Stick

Everything tastes better “on-a-stick” right? Think about all those fantastically fun State Fair Foods we enjoy during the summer. This recipe is an easy way to to make a portable dessert right at home! With just 5 ingredients, you can transform frozen Belgian Waffles into a delicious treat.

Toast frozen Belgian Waffles, slice in half and insert the stick. Dip the waffles in melted semi-sweet and milk chocolate, then sprinkle with toffee bits. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set and enjoy!
This is a great dessert to make before party, summer get-together, or back yard bash. These Chocolate Toffee Waffles are fun and portable!
Chocolate Toffee Waffles On-A-Stick (click here to print recipe)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
5 frozen Belgian waffles
1/4 cup toffee bits (such as Heath Bits ‘O Brickle)
Melt chocolate chips and shortening over medium heat, stirring constantly. Toast waffles according to package directions. Cut waffles in half and insert a wooden skewer into each piece. Dip waffles in chocolate to coat, allowing excess to drip back into pan. Place on wax paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Refrigerate until chocolate is set.
