First of all, give a heart-felf thanks to the Lord and to the donors of this gifting. It is a given that we would pay off the church’s loan for Harmony House (a home for women who have come out of dysfunctional situations). Carefully consider investments that involve land, give a percentage to all three of our grown children, and then what is left we would pay off encumbrances, perhaps (since we are seniors) take a much needed cruise. The mind wanders with all the possibilities.

    Diane H says:

That amount is so much and a dream on the horizon. First thing would be to set up a trust for a disabled grandchild. 2nd – well that would be to pay off mounting bills. But of course, who doesn’t have that in these harder times. Then – I would start my own business which I have been trying to do and would have no excuse left! Gosh, maybe I should consider entering the next cookoff myself – who knows, the dream could become a reality!

    Bobbi Biehl says:

I could not even imagine winning this kind of money but if I did , I would pay for my sons school, he wants to become a doctor and is in his third year of school but we are financially struggling due to alot of tragedies we have been through. In his short 21 years on this earth he has watched his dad pass away with a very rear cancer that we struggled with for two years and then two years later his older brother that was like his dad and his absolute best friend took his own life and my son was the only one there to handle it… Michael was only 23. I was out of town on business with a new job that I had just got. Needless to say after the funeral, my boss let me go because of all this, he felt I would not be able to perform my work 100% … We have been through so much more that can not even begin to put on paper in the last five years. I just want to be able to put my son through school without him worrying about the money. He is so gifted academically and works with kids and elders, I am so proud of him for staying so strong throughout this…when I grow up I want to be just like him!!! He deserves to have less stress in his life, all he worries about is the money , his loans, working to pay for school, and mostly his grades, ( which are very good) He is avery caring and compassionate person. I wish I as a mom could make things better for him and take all his pain away, I just try and be as strong as I can…thats all I can do. By the way, I also take care of a child that has autism and would love to help her and her mom with some of their struggles. I would also give money to a animal rescue, I rescued my dog there and they really are a very compasionate shelter with alot of good people that do things out of the good of their hearts.. There are alot of angels on this earth..just have to open your eyes to them.
