Top 10 No-Bake Treats
I love a good no-bake cookie. It satisfies your sweet tooth without even turning on the oven! Then, of course, there are always refrigerator pies and even cakes that can be prepared in unique ways. From truffles to trifles, and tiramisu to tortes, there seems to be no end to the no-bake possibilities!

The first recipe on the list is new to the collection. I fell in love with these easy no-bake 4-ingredient cookies because they are the perfect blend of sweet and salty! (The flavor combination actually reminds me of my favorite dessert, the Butterscotch Budino, from Mario Batali’s Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles.)
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
3 cups butterscotch chips (three- 6 oz. packages)
4 cups plain bite-sized shredded wheat cereal
1 cup chopped salted peanuts
1. In top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling water, combine sweetened condensed milk and butterscotch chips until mixture is smooth and thick, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine cereal and peanuts. Pour butterscotch mixture over cereal mixture and toss until well-coated. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper-lined cookie sheets. Chill for 2 hours or until firm. Remove and store in a covered container in refrigerator. Makes about 5 dozen.
