There is nothing like a hot meal on a cold day! For easy winter meals, my favorite tool is a Crock-Pot.

Favorite crockpot item to make is Corned Beef and cabbage
I am a widow and cook for one most of the time. This crock pot would be perfect to cook one of my favorites chicken with mushroom soup and the sides at the same time.
I really like cornbeef and cabbage in my crockpot. Put it in with the spices and later it’s done–so easy. And good!
My husband and kids Love when I make Chile Verde in the Crock Pot!! With the triple I could make Beans and Rice along with it!! I would love to win this…
I am from the south , so my favorite thing to cook in the crock pot is pinto beans. But I cook so many things in the crock pot cause it is so much easier with my 2 yr old, 1 yr old twins and 2 mth old grandson plus the adults. I could cook a whole meal in this if I won it. I would love to have it.

I’m actually doing the fat flush soup right now. Check out http://www.annlouise.com for her recipe, and she also has books out for the diet plan, fat flush foods,etc. I went from a jumpstart weight loss soup for 4 days to the fat flush soup and diet and am down 10 pounds in two weeks.
A good diet is one that works for you.

The make two recipes the most in my slow cooker, the first is stew, and then stuffed peppers. I have made other things but those are my two favorite.
This is a hard one to answer. I love making chili in a crockpot but queso & chili dip or any type of dried beans are great to slow cook as well. It’s nice to be able to set it and leave while I go about a hectic NYC lifestyle.

My family loves creamy crockpot chicken and noodles. I leave the chicken and creamy combo slow cooking all day. The anticipation created by the aroma makes everyone’s mouth water. I love our old slow cooker

My favorite recipe: cut up polish sausage into bite size pieces~ add tomatoes~ cut up green peppers ~ and seasonings to taste. Serve over rice. Yum!
Italian Beef is by far the family favorite but I also love slow cooking ribs.
I am not fussy. I use my slow-cooker at least once a week. Sometimes I will make two pot roasts — one for now and one to freese for a night when I’m running late, A triple crock pot means cooking three appetizers at once or all courses of a meal.

I put pork chops in the crock pot along with cream of chicken soup and let it cook for about 8 hours on low heat, then I serve that over some rice cooked in chicken broth along with some onions, garlic and pepper. <3

I love doing Ziti in my crockpot as well as stew & chili. Being a single working mom of a 6 ft teen means he’s hungry as soon as he gets home from school and this is something that he can grab a bowl of without hassle or worry. I’ve had mine since 1981 the year my oldest son was born. So it’s been faithful and well used over the last 30 yrs!

My faves are great soups and stews. Other than those, I have had relatively few successes with my Crockpot. I need help! I try making casseroles and they burn or come out toooo mushy. I do like braising meats/chicken in it.

FRENCH OVEN STEW! I am a slow cook enthusiast! The oven stew was a recipe from my mother in law that the family loves. I do mine in a crock pot for about 5 hours. Tender beef, carrots, celery and onions..easy with a couple of tablespoons of tapioca to thicken. My secret ingredient is spicy V8.
I love to fix beef stew or chili this time of the year and in the warm months its great to be able to have a nice slow cooked roasted without having to turn on the oven.

What a cute idea for a party from Crock Pot! I love to make short ribs in the crock pot…Either in a brown gravy/red wine sauce or bbq’d. Simply delish and fall off the bone tender!
My favorite crockpot dish is Chili.
2 lbs hamburger (browned)
1 onion (chopped)
1 can of kidney beans
1 large can of tomatoes
1 can chopped tomatoes with chipolte
2 teaspoon cumin
4 tablespoons chili powder
Dump ingredients in Crockpot and cook on slow for 9 hours.
Dinner is ready when you get home from work!

I love to make Japanese Curry in my crock pot!! It’s great over rice!
I like to cook a pork roast in the crock pot and then shred it when cooked and then add 1/2 can enchilada sauce and 1/2 portion spaghetti sauce and return to the crock pot to heat and blend the sauces together. I use this over rice, on baked potatoes, on hamburger buns or I just use my imagination and use it. It is very tasty.

Wow, this would be a terrific party tote!! our sausage dip is “killer” and would be a perfect one of the triple.. 1 lb sausage; two RoTels, one drained, 1 8 oz cream cheese, brown sausage, drain, add rotels and cream cheese, heat til bubbling!!

I make chili and vegetable soup in my old pot. It has been handed down to many people. I know I am at least the fourth person to have it. I don’t know for sure how old it is but it looks like the first prototype for crockpots. I also do lots of roasts and ribs and things!

I have been using the same crockpot for over 25 years and it still works great. I would love a new one though. I make my own version of chimichanga filling. Beef or Chicken and green chili sauce, jalopenos and of course spices. My oldest son requests it whenever he is visiting.

There is nothing better than a pork roast that has been slow cooking all day! My family loves it with some whipped potatoes and veggies.

I love to make hash brown casserole for Christmas morning! Layer hash browns with yummy goodness (onions, bacon or ham, green peppers) pour 12 beaten eggs, salt and pepper over top & cook on low 10 hrs. Perfect!

Warm until bubbly. I use any kind of corn chip or homemade pita chips to dip. This is a great dip for any occasion because you can easliy double or triple it according to what you need.

What a perfect party server! For our Family Christmas Celebration, I always make 3 different soups and serve in crockpots for enjoying for lunch or through the afternoon. This CrockPot appliance would be PERFECT!

Everyone’s favorite Crockpot app here is definetly my spinach and artichoke dip. Alfredo sauce and a whole bag of mozzerella are the secret ingredients… making it smooth and cheesy. The girls and I literally just stand around the Crockpot eating until it’s all gone!! ;D

My families favorite recipe is a boneless pork slow cooked in a crock pot with dijon mustard, brown sugar and whole berrie cranberry sauce. The meat remains very tender and the added ingredients make a great gravy/sauce while tenderizing the pork. Serve with mashed potatoes, butternut squash and biscuits to create a colorful and comforting meal.

My favorite slow-cooker or crock-pot dish is beef stew and I would love to use this slow cooker for entertaining.
My favorite thing to make in the slow cooker is Cuban pork loin. You can get store bought Mojo to marinade in a ziploc bag overnight. Then you just put your pork loin in the cooker with some chopped up onions on slow cook for 6 hours. It just shreds apart and is great for sandwiches too.
I love to make pork & sauerkraut in the crock pot. The pork is soooo tender it falls apart with a fork. And the little bit of fat from the pork takes away some of the sour from the kraut. Just make mashed potatoes and you have a complete meal!

A good ‘ol Pot Roast would be great on a cold, winter day. A slab of beef – any special sale cut, quartered potatoes, diagonally cut carrots, and sliced onions thrown on top. But after dinner, the triple sectioned Crock-Pot would be great for ice cream sundaes – hot caramel, warm chocolate sauce, and cool strawberry compote. Tummy growling right now!

OMG!! My family loves it when I cook pot roast or stew, but I have one that doesn’t like the celery I put in it and another that doesn’t like the celery and onion. Now I can cook three pots in a specific order that is requested by my picky eaters! I love this appliance idea! Hope to be a winner and try it out. Oh, my mind is working for other great uses too!!!
Favorite recipe is Pot Roast, but I use it for everything, including IKEA meatballs…I place the frozen meatballs in the crockpot, mix the packaged gravy with the water & milk, pour over the top & pop out the frozen mashed potatoes and place them on top of all for 4-6 hrs on low. Viola, dinner when you get home from that shopping trip!

Makes it easier for me, and frees me up to do things that I would prefer to do during the week. My favorite meal out of the crock pot is lasagna since it cuts having to clean it out of the oven for me. I have not found a pan that will hold my lasagna from over flowing. Now, in my crockpot, I don’t have to worry about it. I turn it on low, and let it cook, and it does not overflow. It is easy and delicious.

I love using my slow cooker so much it’s hard to choose just one fave, but if I had to I would say it would be the pulled pork bar-b-q sandwiches that I often serve on Christmas
I love to make so many different things in my Crock Pot because it is so versatile but my favorite thing is meatballs for my grand babies they love the ones with the cranberry sauce….I love to see their faces and hear their expressions when they smell the meatballs cooking…

My favorite Crockpot dish is Golden Mushroom Pork Chops with onions and green peppers..The chops are so tender, the meat falls off the bone and using Golden Mushroom soup, (NOT cream of mushroom) it makes a hearty gravy for the meat and either potatoes or noodles. Yummy!!!

I love to use a crock pot – it cooks while you are at work and when you get home the
house smells wonderful. My favorite recipe to cook in the crock post is a 4-5 lb brisket.
Trim the fat from the outside edge of you meat and push it down firmly into the crockpot. Do not add any seasoning such as salt! Over the brisket pour a medium size jar
of sliced pickles (bread& butter, sweet are best) add juice and all. Next add a medium
jar of you favorite barbeque sauce. Cover and cook 5 hrs. Then when you get home lift
brisket out and slice up – its very tender
and eat as your meat entray or make wonderful
barbeque sandwiches out of them. My kids and grandkids love it.
I love making a roast beef in my Crock Pot. It always turns out so moist and fork-tender!! My family just loves it!! We use it for so many occasions!! It is such a life saver to be able to have it cook a meal on busy days and not have to watch your food the entire time!! Thank you Crock Pot!! You ROCK!!
Our fav is Lemon Chicken stuffed with chopped onions and celery and we simply love the broth it makes to fix soup. To the broth, I add noodles, garlic powder, leftover chicken, onion and celery from the Lemon Chicken. Delish!!!!

I love to make soup – and there is no recipe! I just use whatever I have on hand . It might be vegetarian (whatever is ripe in the garden or sitting in the fridge) or have a meat or fish in it. I might have water, chicken or beef broth or V8 juice as the liquid. I add whatever seasoning I might have, but not too much sodium for health reasons. I have a large crock-pot for family meals or potluck dinners and a little bitty one for my daily lunches.

I love to use my crockpot. I am disabled so it comes in handy when I am sick. I love to cook a roast with carrots, potatoes, celery and onions. You cook it slowly till the meat comes apart. Good Good.

I love to make BBQ turkeymeatballs with a cranberry BBQ sauce to take to parties. My fav dessert is slowcooker baked apples You fill the cored apples with walnuts and raisins place in the cooker add a cup of apple cider place 1Tablespoon of brownsugar on top of each apple and a pat of butter. cook until tender usually about 2 hours. baste with the sauce. Serve with a dallop of whip cream.Sometimes I add 1/4 cup of brown sugar to the dripping in the crock pot to make a simple sauce and spoon over the apples. Very good :O)

I use my crockpot for everything from stews and seashell provolone to warm cider or hot chocolate for a crowd. I even use it to keep things warm that you will normally not think of like rolls. My father has even used his for making cakes. That’s one I’d like to try out for myself. Love that crockpot!!!

I love my crock pot for roasting delicious beef. I use cheap cuts and trim off and out any visible fat then put it in the crock pot with some dehydrated onions, a couple tablespoons of water and a couple bouillion cubes. After 8-10 hours it is so tender and has delicious rich flavor!!!!!!
I like to make bratwurst with sauerkraut, onions, and a bottle of beer in the crock pot. I don’t ever like sauerkraut except in this dish it is so good! I brown the brats first either on the stove or on the grill outside and then put it all together in the crock pot. MMM good.
wonderful for making “cholent”…the traditional Jewish Satuday dinner,commonly cooked overnight in a 200 degree oven. Cholent consists of meat, potatoes, lima beans, kidney beans, vegetables…really a form of Jewish stew.

My favorite recipe for the slow cooker would have to be Hearty Chicken Noodle and Bean soup
Here’s the recipe for those of you who would like to try it:
Ingred – two cans cooked white meat chicken
– one can each pinto, black, and red beans
– one can fire roasted diced tomatoes
– one green bell pepper
– 4C veggie juice + 1C chicken broth
– 1C whole wheat pasta
– seasoning, preferably italian
Steps: 1. Add broth, juice, beans, and tomatoes to slow cooker, set to Low.
2. In skillet, cook diced green pepper in 1Tbsp olive oil to desired tenderness. Add to slow cooker.
3. Add chicken, pasta, and seasonings to slow cooker, change to High setting. Cook for four hours, or until pasta reaches desired tenderness.
Serves 12

Aah, Swedish meat balls by far. They come out so tender and flavorful. I can fix them in the morning and let them cook to perfection to have for dinner with rice and veggies or for a party as an appitizer. Always a big hit.
My favorite crockpot food is bbq beef brisket My mother gave me one back in the 70′s when I returned to school. It was a life saver. Dinner was done when the kids and I got home from school and gave me the whole evening to study.
I love to take hot dogs that have been chopped, along with some BBQ sauce and some brown sugar and let It cook on low for about 6 hours. So good and great to use for sandwiches, as a main dish, or whatever your In the mood for.

My favorite thing to cook in a crockpot is bbq rabbit. It makes the meat very tender and it’s nice to come home after working all day and have a hot meal waiting. Put it on warmed buns with a nice side salad and you have a quick yummy meal.

Cut up potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, put in the bottom of the crockpot, whole chicken on top. Add a half cup of water. We get it ready the night before we ski. When we get back from the slopes, dinner’s ready!

I love making a turkey breast on top of stuffing in my crock-pot. Be sure to spray the inside so the stuffing doesn’t stick, then I use an apple jelly over the top of the turkey. So quick and easy to make turkey and stuffing.

Bourbon chicken! Put the chicken in frozen in the morning on low. 8 hours later the chicken is moist and flavorful. Putting chicken in frozen has enabled me to make so much more in my crock pot.
We love it when the weather turns cool. I make a nice, tender roast with vegetables. I also have soup parties and everyone brings their Crockpot full of soup. The biggest challenge for a party like this is finding enough electric sockets.

This crockpot would make entertaining so easy to serve different appetizers or main dishes. The extra compartments and lazy susan is such an added bonus! I love using a crockpot for many different things, but an all time favorite is a turkey breast cooked in nothing but its own juices. Ends up like pulled pork only its turkey! So moist and delicious, and great on a sandwich or over mashed potatoes.
I have suffered from food poisoning several times from food not properly kept heated. That is why I love preparing and serving food in my slow cooker. I just plug it in and I don’t have to worry anymore. The easiest recipe and favorite for my crock pot is meatballs, chili sauce and grape jelly. Two minutes most in prep and great sweet and sour meatballs. The longer they are in the pot the better they taste.

It’s simple as you dust meat with flour, brown, deglaze pan put into crock pot with stock and some water, onions, & season. then in timed fashion add the chopped chunks of carrot, celery, potato so cook evenly. In later years we took to adding some chili flakes … spice it up lightly. Drink with our favorite bottle of Petite Syrah!

I like to make corned beef with beer, carrots, potatoes and spices. I prefer to saute the cabbage separately with garlic, onions and olive oil.
My favorite recipe is Beef Roast and Potatoes with onions. I can put this in the crockpot in the morning and when I get home from work, I have my meal ready. Then, with the leftover juice from the roast, I add some water, a little powdered milk, some cornmeal and I put that on low and cook all night and I have what I call “cornmeal mush” for my doggies. I benefit from my crockpot and so do my dogs. They love this poured over their dog food.

Making stock for soups is great in the crockpot; just throw everything in, forget about it for a day, and then come back and freeze it up to save.
(But on a less traditional note: yogurt! So much better than praying the oven works!)

My favorite crockpot recipe is mexicali chicken soup. It is so yummy and warm on a cold winter day. You just throw 2 or 3 chicken breasts in a crock pot in the am., then you throw in a jar of salsa and let that cook all day, when you get home you shred up the chicken right in the crockpot, and then you add the rest. Can of tomatoes with chilies, can of drained black beans, can of mexicali corn, can of tomato soup, and anything else you desire, let it heat up again, and you have a delicious soup,. serve with sourcream, and cheese on top.

It’s always a huge hit, can be made with meat or vegetarian, and has all the carbs and warmth to make a cold winter day cozy.

My husband and I work opposite shifts and are only together for a couple of hours a day. It would be nice to spend as much of that time as possible , NOT slaving over the stove! Just so cool… can set up dinner for the evening in it and go about getting the day taken care of while the Crock*Pot makes dinner.

We usually eat our New Year’s Day meal around noon. The pork is so tender it falls right off of the bone. I love waking up to the smell of pork and sauerkraut on New Year’s morning. Happy 2012!

I would love to have this handy little appliance. I have been a fan of crockpots even before they came out with the table model. My first kitchen stove had a built in one, and in those days we did 12 hour shifts, so having something ready for the family was a real blessing for a hard working RN. These days with Hubby an invalid, it is hard to cook in small lots with his dietary problems. This would be as much a blessing as the first one was.
My Family favorite is a 10# pork shoulder with 1_1/2cup of water in my large crock pot, set on High for 1 hour, then slow cook on low over night for 10 to 12 hours until the meat has fallen off the bone, I shred the meat for pulled pork, then mix 40 oz. of my favorite BBQ sauce with either Dr. Pepper or Root Beer or coke or orange flavored soda pop , fold in the pulled pork. Keep warm in the crock pot, set out buns, let everyone serve themselve as desired, enjoy the game.
Chili topped with a corn bread and the 2nd crockpot is set up with preachers cake dessert. We often set up to crockpots to cook a full meal andhave a dessert going as well as the main dish and veggies.

2 can cream of asparagus soup (or cream of chicken)
1 can cheddar cheese soup
Place chicken in crockpot, mix soups together and pour over chicken. Cook on low 7 hours. Serve over hot cooked rice.

I’d have to say that pulled pork is the favorite slow-cooker recipe at our house. I put the roast and spices in the crock pot early in the day, and by dinner time it’s perfect. Just serve on warm buns with chips or a salad. Easy and delicious!

There’s almost nothing I’ve not tried making in my slow cooker and we love everything that comes out of it. I especially like that I can set it and forget it for the day, or even overnight for breakfast dishes. It’s also great for making all sorts of beans to keep on hand for the week. Cooking dried beans can be time consuming to watch on the stove if your burners don’t hold the correct temperature all the time. My slow cooker makes them come out great..nice and slow. OR when more in a rush, I turn it to High and dinner is done in a few hours! And I’ve got new slow cooker books as gift I’m relaly eager to try! This one would be great for when my kids come to visit or when my husband wants clam chowder and I’m after something minus fish. I can already imagine the 3 soups I’d make or the dips I’d prepare and make everyone happy at the same time. Now that is a gift I’d love to share with family and friends at the holidays and all year round! Great contest, by the way.!

I have some picky eaters,so I could make their favorites(mainly Italian),and my favorites(sometimes spicy). I love to have Slavic foods like stuffed cabbage rolls,etc. This cooker would be ideal too, since we wouldn’t have a lot of leaftovers!

Cream Cheese Crockpot chicken is my husbands favorite. I put the chicken on to slow cook in the am with butter and Italian dressing dry mix and he makes the sauce when he gets home. Over biscuits…..yummm.

I travel with a little four cup crock pot and put what ever I don’t eat at dinner into it; add some spices from a little spice container that my friends bought me several years ago. I put it into a huge thermal sealed cup in my cooler, wash out my pot, sip on it or reheat it as necessary and eat out again the next night.
I keep mashed potatoes warm in my old crock pot while I finish preparing the rest of meal

My Mac & Cheese. I have won the “Capital Region’s Best Mac & Cheese” award: 1st Place. I bake my Mac & Cheese in the crock. It is superb! It is creamy inside and crisp on the outside. I bake it in the oven, then I keep it warm when bringing to potlucks and parties. I would not make it in anything else than a crock pot.

Pulled pork is by far my families favourite crock pot meal.

I love to cook beans in my crockpot especially black beans.
My family loves to entertain and host parties. One of my most requested party foods in the crock pot is meatballs. This recipe has been around for years. My grandmother made it all the time, then my mother and now I make it…for every party.
Take your favorite meatball recipe or use a 4-6lb bag of frozen meatballs
2 jars of cocktail sauce
1 large 32oz jar of grape jelly
heat up the jelly and cocktail sauce till melted and smooth. Place meatballs in crockpot and poor hot mixture all over. Cook on high for 6 hours or low for 8-10. The longer they cook the more carmelized and yummy they get. If you have time just and don’t want the extra pan to clean just put the sauce and jelly in the crockpot on high and let it melt that way then add meatballs and stir. Enjoy! My family sure does.
My favorite crockpot dish is Chicken and dumplings. Just roll out and refrigerate th dumplings, cook the Chicken soup ingredients all day on low, and drop in the dumplings an hour before you’re ready to eat!
I love to make Chicken Cacciatore in my crockpot. It is so tender and full of flavor. The house smells great when I get home from work…feels like my mom has been home cooking for me all day!
My favorite dish to make in the crock pot is round steak with cream o’ mushroom gravy.
I love to make Lasagna in the crockpot using no cook lasanaga noodles. I am a mother of 3 little ones and this receipe has been a timesaver for a quick dinner meal.

I use the crock pot for many things, soups, stews, and chili. But my all time favorite is apple cider chicken. Delicious!
I like to cook a roast in the crock pot. It comes out so tender and juicy.
I use my crock pot every week … usually on Sundays. I have no idea who invented the crock pot, but they rank right up there with the people who invented paper plates, paper towels and cartoons. It’s difficult to just choose one recipe I enjoy the most for crock pot cooking, but I think I’d have to say my beef stroganoff. The diet goes out the window, when it’s finally ready to eat …
I love coming home from a hard day at work and opening the door to the great smelling dinner already made in my crock pot! Our favorite dish to make is an Old Fashioned Beef Stew, especially on those cold winter days in the northeast… of course except this winter… but that is OK- the stew is always great and comes out perfect each time! Great time saver for working family with two small kids!

There are so many foods I love to prepare in my crockpot. I think the best is jambalya! When my family comes home and you smell it when you walk in the door, YUM!!

This is going to sound kind of nutty, but I absolutely love to make oatmeal in the crock pot. I start it before I go to bed at night, and in the morning, I have a wonderful hot and nutritious breakfast for the entire family.
I use may crock pot on average of 2 to 3 times a week. My favorite is cheicken & dressing
Just last night I had a taste for pinto beans for dinner with some good hot cornbread…so in the crockpot they went with all the seasonings I love. I cooked them during the night and they were perfect this morning. I can’t wait to have dinner ready after a long day of meeting and appointments!
It is hard to choose a fave but the dish that instantly came to mind is pot roast & potatoes with that yummy mushroom gravy. Makes the whole house smell great and your mouth start to water the minute you get home.

I use my crockpot for Beef Roast, Hot Cheese Dip and Sloppy Joes. I would love to win the triple crock pot! I won’t hold my breath because I haven’t won anything yet.
I raised 5 boys and there is not too many items I cannot cook in a crock pot; but my favorite is the first item I ever cooked in a crock pot and that was a boneless beef rump roast in 1982!
I absolutely love Chocolate Lava Cake prepared in my crock pot and my Church family loves it too. My next favorite is pulled pork. Ah – so many recipes, so little time!
I love using my crockpots for so many purposes, keeping foods warm for hours, cooking up soups and stews! I cook for an AMVET hall, and sure could use a triple pot like this one!
I love to use a slow cooker as it takes the hassle of spending a lot of time in prep of food. I make all kinds of Southwestern recipes including carne adovada and a great black bean soup.
Beef Stew
My favorite recipe is roast chicken in the crock pot. I feed my cats a home-made meal, and I have two crock pots going many days – one with the roast chicken for the cat food, and another with rich, tomato vegetable chicken and bean soup for me!
I love to make Red Beans and Rice in my slow cooker, it is so easy and you don’t have to sit and watch it like on the stove. I also make a Marinated Boneless Pork Loin in it as well; using Tony Chachere’s Butter Jalapeno Marinade and lots of fresh seasoning blend and the More Spice Tony Chachere’s Seasoning coating the outside.

Love using my crock pot. Favorite thing to make is boneless pork ribs to make sandwiches with the pork and coleslaw.
