food tastes better if i cook it and i know that my family will eat it. plus trying to feed a family of 4 with leftovers is tough to do cheaply at a restaurant. i love to cook and i can sneak in healthy ingredients.

I rather cook at home any day. I had my time cooking in restaurants most of my life. You never know how clean your food is, besides you save a whole lot of money and it is a great deal of help when you have a big family!

I would rather cook at home as I just began Weight Watchers and am experimenting with different recipes. Chinese food is something I am wanting to explore if I did have a Wok. I have tried a few things in a frying pan. Eating out is probably the reason I am on Weight Watchers, so, this is a very healthy choice for me.

I prefer cooking at home because I know the fruits and vegetables are fresh. I have control over the oil, salt, suger, etc that goes into my cooking & baking. Not only are my meals healthier, they are smaller servings and money saving also.

I would love to learn to cook with a wok correctly. Whenever I have tried stir frying veggies I seem to make them to soggy. I love the crispness of veggies in a Chinese restaurant and would love to be able to make the food as good as theirs but low fat. I want to learn to cook just as good or better than the average restaurant at a much more affordable price.

Both my husband and 6-year old son LOVE chinese food. I would be their hero if I could learn to cook in a Wok and make their favorite fried rice and chicken dishes at home instead of having to order out all of the time. And I would LOVE it knowing it knowing they were eating healthy, home cooked food.

I’ve been surfing on-line greater than 3 hours today, but I never discovered any fascinating article like yours. It?s beautiful worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet shall be much more useful than ever before.

I enjoy cooking and creating new recipes. Asian cuisine is one of my favorites. Stir fry foods are quick to put together and taste yummy.

We use an old frying pan to “stir fry” – we really like veggies & meat/fish/poultry done that way for all the reasons already mentioned; less expensive, healthy, easy to portion, good for making extra for lunches, etc., and open to all kinds of flavour variations. It would be so much better to have the correct equipment !

I love cooking at home bc I can ensure all the ingredients are fresh and I can control the sodium. Plus the feeling of successfully creating a fabulous meal!

I love cooking with a wok. The recipes are so flexible; I find I can add any combination of vegetables that I have on hand and the thin slicing of the meat means you are far more likely to have a healthier serving–less meat and more veggies.

    Dee Davis says:

It is a quick and easy way to make a meal with any veg. and meat. Woks are all good for making soups, frying fish and steaming.

I love asian food, but don’t own a wok and can’t afford one now.

I prefer to cook at home b/c I know what’s in it and I can make it healthier.

Cooking at home is my new challenge since I recently became disabled. The wife goes to work and I try to have dinner prepared. I’ve never owned a Wok or cooked with a Wok but we both love Asian flavors and I would love to have this beauty to learn on.

Ever since my trip to Taiwan, I have wanted to learn to cook Chinese at home. You simply cannot get authentic Chinese in most of the US.

I’d rather cook in than 9rder out (usually) because I like knowing what is in my food. I get to choose the quality of the ingredients that way.

    Gloria says:

I have made a lot of Chinese recipies. I find that home cooking gives you the advantage of serving more healthfull ingredience and allows you to serve family members more or less of a certain food group. Just a note: Toast the sesame seads before adding them to the finished dish. It brings out the flavor of the Sesame seads.

I just enjoy cooking, simple as that, as well as controlling the salt content. Too many foods are way too high in salt.

  • 26
    Lynn says:

I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I can substitue for ingredients I don’t like or am allergic too. Then, I see news reports about food safety in restaurants. I know my food is clean and safe.

No matter how good the food is at a restaurant,it never tastes as good by the time you get it home. I’d rather cook it here.

I would rather cook at home because I can cook without preservatives, and I can use fresh ingredients.
