Mac and Cheese Mania worth $5000!

I am SO EXCITED about the contest theme this week! Seriously, what is better than MAC AND CHEESE?!? This All-American dish can be made in countless ways and I can’t wait to see all the creative concoctions our Better Recipes cooks have to offer!
Think about it…you start with the basics – pasta and cheese. There’s elbow macaroni, shells, rotini, penne and more! When it comes to cheese there’s gouda, edam, provolone, romano, and the entire cheddar family. Of course you can always get creative with mix-ins, toppings and presentation. You can enter a mac and cheese pie, turn it into a pizza, make it gourmet or make it “x-rated.” How can you go wrong with a dish that is one of Oprah’s Favorite Things!
Remember, we have $5000 up for grabs! Each week there is a new $250 winner and at the end of 23 weeks we will crown a Grand Prize winner from among the weekly winners. So what are you waiting for? Get busy, get creative and get your entries uploaded to Better Recipes by midnight on Saturday.

I used pizza sauce for a faster mix.
